Dingyue Luna Fan
Born 1997 in Chongqing, China
Lives and works in Montreal, Canada
Dingyue obtained her BA in French in 2016, and graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2023. Her semi-abstract compositions are inspired by her childhood memories, layered dreams, and inherited mythologies. Influenced by her early encounters with grotto sculptures and murals in southwest China, her work weaves fluid surfaces, reimagined life-forms, and transitional landscapes to awaken the counterflow imbued with feminine vitality that pulses through the subconscious mind and ancestral resonance. Fan’s work has been exhibited internationally and is part of private and institutional collections.
