Jess Xiaoyi Han

Jess Xiaoyi Han has lived between New York and China for most of her life and is currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA from School of Visual Arts (SVA) with a concentration in illustration. Working with alkyd and oil paint, Han employs an expressive color palette to create soft, organic shapes that intertwine and unfold like a living organism, mimicking the delicate balance of ecosystems and reflecting the artist’s internal emotional dialogue and experiences.
